Meeting with Lac Hong’s Robocon teams 2011

The Robot Contest 2011 is coming near, attracting eagerness of not only the Robocon participants but also all teachers and students of Lac Hong University. Great passion for Robocon of Lac Hong’s students has been lit up since after the first season the school participated. It is becoming greater when Lac Hong University became the champion of Robocon Vietnam 2010 for the first time and they took second place in the 2010 Asia-Pacific Robocon contest, held in Cairo, Egypt.

 

 

Attending the meeting was Dr. Tran Hanh - Rector, Diep Cam Thu, M.A – Vice Rector, Lam Thanh Hien, M.A – Vice Rector, teachers and heads of departments, divisions and centers.

At the meeting, Lam Thanh Hien, M.A has called upon members of 13 teams to fan the flame of passion in this intellectual game. This is the playground of the students who love science, creativity and have the spirit of learning. He also wishes the teams successful competition, good morals, compliance with competition rules and the referee's control.

Giving the most sincere advice to students present at the meeting, Dr. Tran Hanh who has strong attachment to Lac Hong’s Robocon movement through competition seasons looks forward to his students’ great confidence in entering competitions. The championship prize is always desire of not only students of Lac Hong but also all competitors in the contest. Offering his students opportunities to participate in this game, to learn and to be in contact with reality, however,  is the greatest joy for him. Thus, he expects these teams to play with the spirit of honest and fairplay. They must be fair, humble and absolutely respect the referee's and directives’ decisions.
