More than 400 blood units collected in Lac Hong University
Morning of October 13, 2011 Lac Hong University’s Youth Union cooperated with Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre to launch a humanitarian blood donation program named “A drop of blood, Millions of hearts” (Mot giot mau, Trieu tam long).
More than 400 volunteers who are youth member, teachers, students and staff registered to participate in the program. Accordingly, 429 blood units were collected and provided to hospitals.
Every year, Lac Hong University organizes blood donation programs and receives wholehearted support from teachers, staff and students.
Through this activity, the university calls for teachers and students to raise their awareness of contributing to the community and encourages them to be be involved in the blood campaigns

Lac Hong University is the leading unit in blood programs in Dong Nai province. Each year, the provincial People’s Committee and Dong Nai Red Cross Association award the university certificate of merit for its blood donation efforts.
