Lac Hong University to receive Korea’s delegation
In the morning of March 7, Busan city’s delegates including Mr. Kim Dong Wook – Director of International Exchange Office, Manager Jun Me Kyeung and Specialist Joo Huyn Hoo paid a working visit to Lac Hong University. The visiting delegation was welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tran Thi Thu Luong – Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies.

At the working session, Mr. Kim Dong Wook wished Lac Hong University to have cooperative programs with some universities in Busan, Korea. The contents of the programs can be sending Lac Hong’s students to take internship in Korea for six months or offering its junior or senior students of Korean Studies or Engineering opportunities to study in Busan city’s universities. If the programs are carried out, the students not only get jobs in Korean corporations in Vietnam but also have chances to get higher education in Korean universities. Mr. Kim also stressed that students who take internship for six months would work in enterprises in Busan city. In addition, students can get six-month scholarship worth US $ 3,500 – 4,000 if they get good grades. The cooperative program is not only for Korean Studies students but also Engineering ones who study well and have foreign language ability.
At the reception, Dr. Tran Thi Thu Luong expressed her great thanks to Busan city’s delegates for their visit. She also expressed her wish to strengthen relations between the Lac Hong University and Korea’s universities.

Cooperative programs with Korean universities in particular and with other ones in the world have brought many good studying opportunities to students of Lac Hong. If the programs are realized effectively, the students can improve their foreign language proficiency as well as working skills, offering them career opportunities in the future.
