Meeting to celebrate Women’s Day

Attending the meeting was Secretary of Party Committee Nguyen Trung Phuong, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Rector Dr. Do Huu Tai, Chairman of Trade Union Diep Cam Thu, M.A and the participation of a great number of teachers and staff.

After the opening speech delivered by Diep Cam Thu, M.A, Head of Women’s Board Ho Thi Hai Yen briefed the participants on women’s activities in 2011 and main tasks for 2012. Also at the meeting, Party Committee, Managing Board, and Youth Union Branch presented flowers and praised active contribution and efforts made by woman lecturers and staff.  Many of woman staff are yearly commended and awarded certificates of merit by the Education Union.

 

On this occasion, the Trade Union handed rewards to winners of the cooking competition “Mon Ngon Ba Mien” (delicious dishes in the three regions) which was held previously to celebrate the Women’s Day.

 

Hopefully, to respond to leadership’s care, woman lecturers and staff will continue to uphold their solidarity, creativity and responsibility to contribute to the university’s sustainable development.
