Lac Hong University grants 5 scholarships to Vietnamese Cambodian students

Dong Nai – based Lac Hong University is not only a reliable training unit for parents and students across the country but also a best choice of Vietnamese Cambodian Association in many years. With the aim to help Vietnamese community in Cambodia to speak their mother tongue and widen their knowledge to be able to develop it in the future, Lac Hong University in cooperation with Dong Nai Province People’s Committee often awards full scholarships to Vietnamese Cambodian students at the beginning of every school year.

In the working session with External Affairs Department of Dong Nai province and Vietnamese Cambodian Association on October 10, 2012, Lac Hong University welcomed 5 Cambodian students in Phnom Penh, Kampot, Stưng Treng, Prey Veng provinces.

The happiness of scholarship recipients at the meeting

The working session saw the participation of Vice Rector of Lac Hong University Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Deputy Head of Training Department Luu Ngoc Cuong, Vice Dean of Faculty of Information Technology Vo Hong Bao Chau, M.A, Department Manager of Dormitory Le Thi Hieu and some other teachers of Lac Hong.

Addressing at the working, Mr. Luu Ngoc Cuong said “in the school year of 2012-2013, Lac Hong University will award full scholarships to 5 students (one of them is studying Auditing and Accounting and the rest are studying Information Technology). In addition, the university has arranged accomadations for these students who will live with Vietnamese students in the dormitory to have opportunities to improve their Vietnamese language. Faculty members of Auditing and Accounting and Information Technology  will also continue their efforts to facilitate their study and life at campuses”.
