Lac Hong University receives certificate of merit from the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Welfare

On November 17, 2012 at International Convention Center in Ha Noi capital, the Ministry of Education and Training in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Labor, War Invalids and Social Welfare solemnly held a conference to sum up 3 years of implementing the Decision No 84/2009/QD-TTg of the Prime Minister on approving national action plan for children affected by HIV/ AIDS to 2010 and visions to 2020. Representing Lac Hong University to attend the meeting was Ms. Nguyen Ho Xuan Huong – Head of Student Affairs.

At the conference, leaders of Ministries reported implementation of national action plan for HIV/ AIDS affected children during the past three years. Reporters also pointed out gained results, what has not been done, causes of weakness and gave out suggested solutions for HIV/ AIDS prevention in the coming time.

During the past time, Lac Hong University has widely deployed the national action plan for HIV/ AIDS affected children, HIV/ AIDS preventive measures by diversified forms to the whole officers, teaching staff, and students. The university also carried out propagandas in order to raise faculty‘s and students’ awareness of children affected by HIV/ AIDS and repel social evils in general, HIV/ AIDS in particular out of the pedagogic environment.
