Meeting to celebrate the 63rd Students’ Day

A meeting was held on January 8, 2013 at Room A 301 – campus 1 - Lac Hong University to mark the 63rd anniversary of the founding of the traditional Vietnamese Students’ Day (January 9, 1950 - January 9, 2013) . The meeting aimed to review glorious traditions of students and Vietnamese student Association and to acknowledge students for their outstanding achievements and contributions to students’ movements.

The meeting attracted the great participation of delegates, teachers and students.

The meeting was attended by Chairwoman and Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial Students’ Association Bui Thi Bich Thuy and Le Son Quang, Deputy Director of provincial Department of Education and Training Huynh Le Giang, Secretary of Party Committee Nguyen Trung Phuong, Rector People’s Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai, Vice Rectors, representatives from offices, departments, representatives from Dong Nai province’s universities and colleges, press units and more than 500 typical students.

At the meeting, representing Student Association, comrade Le Son Quang reviewed the traditions of Vietnamese Student Association as well as stressed the roles and responsibilities of all members and students in the university.

On the occasion, the Student Association awarded  January Star (Sao thang gieng), "Tran Van On" scholarship, title " Sinh vien 5 tot", certificates of merit to collectives and individuals for their outstanding achievements in students' movements 2011-2012 and in "Giving strength to students 2012", ...
