Awarding ceremony of Dong Nai province’s Technical Invention Contest

A ceremony was held at Dong Nai provincial Event and Convention Center on February 2, 2013 to award prizes of provincial Technical Invention Contest. Lac Hong University was honored to have lecturers and students who occupied 10 among 34 prizes of the contest. The awarding ceremony was broadcast live on Dong Nai Television.

According to the Dong Nai Department of Science and technology, eight programs and contests which were launched in 2012 have attracted the great participation of scientists and people from all walks of life, appealing for creative spirit in labor and production. The invention contests caught 430 technical solutions while technical invention contest attracted 63 solutions including several fields such as mechanics, information technology, automation, automatic control, biological engineering and new energy. Especially, 34 of them have been effectively applied in enterprises and schools, bringing many socio - economic benefits. In addition, contests such as excellent teachers applying technology in teaching, leaning about historical and cultural values of Dong Nai province, provincial quality award (for enterprises)… have brought positive results, promoting emulation movements of people from every walk of life.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of provincial Department of Science and Technology Pham Van Sang said “Movements and contests launched in the past time are one of the activities aiming to carry out the goal that the whole people participate in technically scientific research. Achievements from these contests will create favorable conditions for the development of Dong Nai province’s socio-economy”

Joining the technical invention contest 2012, students of Lac Hong University had 14 solutions including mechanics, automation, and regenerated energy. As a result, 10 of them won prizes with two First, one Second, one Third, and six Consolation. Besides above awards, Lac Hong University collective and two individuals received certificates of merit at the ceremony.

5.      Ngo Thanh Binh, Le Van Diep – a consolation and a certificate of merit

6.      Hoang Quoc Hung - a consolation and a certificate of merit

7.      Hoang Tuyen Duong, Le Huy Hung - a consolation and a certificate of merit

8.      Khong Huu Thong, Nguyen Thanh Loi - a consolation and a certificate of merit

9.      Nguyen Van Khai, Nguyen Hoang Nam - a consolation and a certificate of merit

10.    Vong The Sam, Le Minh Tri - a consolation and a certificate of merit
