Meeting marks 82nd anniversary of HCMCYU

A meeting was held at Lac Hong University on March 25 to mark the 82^nd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (HCMCYU) (March 26, 1931 – 2013). The meeting aimed at reviewing the glorious tradition of HCMCYU through 82 years of training contribution and matureness and widely propagandizing the meaning and important role of the establishment of Union for Union members.

Present at the meeting were Dong Nai province’s Deputy Secretary of Youth Union and Chairwoman of Student Association Bui Thi Bich Thuy, Party Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the Trustees Board, Rector, Peopels’s Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai, the university’s Secretary of Youth Union Le Son Quang, Head and Deputy Head of Departments and Offices, outstanding 16 collectives and 39 individuals and 150 typical Youth Union members.

Speaking at the meeting, Secretary of Youth Union Le Son Quang reviewed the tradition of HCMCYU’s establishment and gave a briefing on Youth Union – Student Association’s activities in Youth Month 2013.

For his part, People’s Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai on behalf of the Party Committee and the Managing Board congratulated and praised achievements made by the university’s Youth Union. On the occasion, the Youth Union commended and awarded certificates of merit to 16 collectives and 39 individuals for their outstanding achievements in Youth Union work and Youth movements of 2011-2012 academic year.
