LHU works with Vifotec Fund

In the afternoon of May 28, a delegation of Vifotec Fund (Vietnam Fund for Supporting Technological Creations) including Director Le Duy Tien, M.A, representatives of the Organizing Board and the Assessment Council visited and worked with LHU. The visiting delegation was welcomed by Rector People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai, Vice Rectors Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan and Lam Thanh Hien, M.A and some representatives from different departments and offices.

The working session focused on introduction about operations and the meaning of the Fund.  It aims to encourage creativity in sciences and technology. The Vifotec Fund also gives awards to winners in order to encourage further development in scientific and technological projects and solutions.

Also at the working, LHU representatives of authors comprising Pham Van Toan, M.A, Huynh Cao Tuan, M.A, Nguyen Huynh Bach Son Long, Ph.D, Nguyen Vu Duy Quang, M.A, Huynh Tuan Tu, M.A and Mai Phuong Tra, M.A reported their research projects to prepare for the Vifortec award 2013. Previously, these topics had been recognized at regional and national scienctific contests and applied into production.

After presentation part, the Organizing Board made positive assessments and recommendations to the reporters, assisting them in completing their projects as required by the Award. 

Speaking at the working session, on behalf of the University Management Board, Vice Rector Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan said "Besides Robocon playground, the University always create favorable conditions for teachers and students to participate in research activities, creative contests at provincial, ministry and national levels,... From achievements gained in the Vietnam Young Science Talent Award 2012 has urged teachers and students to actively take part in scientific and technological movements of the University, Dong Nai province and the nation".

This year, the Organizing Board directly visited and worked with the University. This is a good chance for LHU to have best scientific and technological projects and solutions. It is hoped that 2013 will be a glorious year of all teachers and students of LHU at prestigious scientific and technological competitions in Vietnam.
