Lac Hong Robot delegation ready for Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2013

In the morning of August 12, members of Lac Hong Robocon team gathered at a launching ceremony to prepare for the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2013, which will be held in Da Nang city ’s Tien Son Sports Complex on August 18.

The ceremony was attended by Dong Nai provincial Vice Chairman of People's Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri, Head of Emulation and Reward Board Le Mai Thanh, Director of Department of Education and Training Le Minh Hoang, LHU Rector People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai, Vice Rectors Dr. Diep Cam Thu and Lam Thanh Hien, M.A, members of University Management Board, heads of units and members of robocon team.

Defending the championship title successfully at National Robot Contest  for four consecutive years (2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013), the LH-SEE and LH-NVN-EAGLE teams from Lac Hong University will represent Viet Nam at the ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2013 held in Da Nang city.

This year’s competition will saw the performances of 19 teams from 18 countries with over 200 contestants.

After 2 months of upgrading their robots, members of the 2 host teams have speeded up the movements and shortened the operating time of their machines. Hopefully, Dong Nai - based Lac Hong University Robocon team will take the highest place at this international technology playground.
