LHU to launch Robocon 2014

Ending Robocon ABU 2013, Lac Hong University robot teams LH-SEE and LH-EAGLE took second place and third place, respectively at  the Asia-Pacific Robot contest. This has urged those who love inventing robots and thirst for conquering this playground to actively participate in the Robocon movement launching ceremony. LHU offers them opportunity to realize their passion by holding a launching ceremony of Robocon 2014 in the morning of September 16. Attending the ceremony was People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai - Chairman of the Trustees Board - Rector; Dr. Nguyen Van Nam - Vice Chairman of Labor Union, Lam Thanh Hien, M.A - Head of Robocon delegation, representatives of department, offices, and centers and a large number of students at all levels.  

Inventing and controlling robots is a hard work requiring accuracy and meticulosity. Also, many teams from universities and colleges across the country want to participate in this Robocon. Asia-Pacific Robot contest 2014 with the theme "A Salute for Parenthood" is highly appreciated for its new-colored competition laws. The champion of Robocon Vietnam will represent for Vietnam to take part in Asia-Pacific Robot contest 2014 held in India.

Also at the ceremony, Robotics Technology Development company (a fellow unit with Lac Hong Robocon playground for many years) has sent its flowers and sponsored some devices to robocon teams of LHU.

After the event, Robocon 2014 was officially launched widely in the University. Teachers and students of Technology will uphold their passion for scientific research and manufacture. Hopefully, LHU will be an active supporter of this intellectual playground.
