Ceremony to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day

In the morning of November 16, 2013, LHU Trade Union formally celebrated the 31st anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers' Day (November 20, 1982 - November 20, 2013) - Ceremony to sum up Trade Union activities of academic year 2012 - 2013 and to honor teachers for their outstanding achievements.

At the ceremony participated People's Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai - Deputy Secretary of LHU Party Committee, Chairman of Trustees Board, Rector; Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector; Dr. Diep Cam Thu - Chairman of Trade Union, Vice Rector; Dr, Nguyen Van Nam - Vice Chairman of Trade Union, Vice Rector; Lam Thanh Hien, MSc. - Vice Rector; Heads of faculties, departments and offices and a large number of teachers and staff.

Art performances to celebrate Vietnamese Teachers' Day

On behalf of the University Management Board, Dr. Diep Cam Thu reviews the history of Vietnamese Teachers' Day.  

Representative students pay gratitude to teachers who are honored as enlightenment mentors.

To begin the ceremony, Dr. Diep Cam Thu - Vice Rector of LHU, on behalf of the University Management Board reviewed glorious traditions of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day. Thereafter, students presented thank flowers to the University Management Board.

Also at the event, LHU honored and commended collectives and individuals who exhibit outstanding achievements in Trade Union task of 2012 - 2013. In addition, campaign medals, certificates of merit "Good at school, responsible for housework", certificates of merit for excellent Trade union members, for devoted ones, and for art performances and emulation movements were awarded at the ceremony.

Head of Women Board Ho Thi Hai Yen bestowed merits to excellent Trade union members.
