SeAH Steel Vina Corp. awards scholarships to LHU' studious poor students

In the morning of December 06, Lac Hong University in cooperation with SeAH Steel Co., Ltd. held a ceremony to award scholarships to studious poor students. Accordingly, SeAH Steel Co., Ltd. donated 13 scholarships totaling VND 130 million (VND 10 million each) to 13 students representing 11 faculties.

The  scholarship awarding ceremony was organized at Room A 301 – Campus 1 – Lac Hong University with the participation of Mr. Phan Van Loi - Chairman of Dong Nai provincial Education Union - representative of provincial Department of Education and Training, SeAH Steel Co.'s Mr. Nam Hyung Kun - General Manager, Mr. Tran Tan Phat - Director  of Human Resources and Vo Van Thanh -  Chairman of Trade Union. For LHU, there were Dr. Diep Cam Thu - Chairman of Trade Union, Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Van Nam - Vice Chairman of Trade Union, Vice Rector; Tran Dung, M.A - Director of Enterprise Relations and Student Support Center and representatives of departments and units.

At the scholarship awarding ceremony, representatives of LHU Dr. Nguyen Van Nam and SeAH Steel Corp. Mr. Nam Hyung Kun have delivered speeches on bilateral cooperation between the two sides. Earlier on January 8, 2013 SeAH Steel Vina Corp. awarded scholarships worth $ 5 500 USD (VND 10 500 000 each) to 11 studious poor students. In addition, Mr Nam Hyung Kun expressed his wish to welcome student generations to cooperate and work for the company. The ceremony was also a good occasion for LHU to introduce its construction, development and training activities. It helped students learn more about policies, human resources developing strategies and annual scholarship programs of SeAH Steel Vina Corp.

The ceremony also acknowledged the meaningful moments between the two units, affirming long-term and strong cooperation between LHU and SeAH Steel Corp.
