LHU presented gifts to Que Huong Humanitarian Center

Lying in the chain of activities to help poor people have a warm and full Tet, in the morning of January 17, LHU visited and presented gifts to Que Huong Charity Centre for Disabled Children in Tan Hiep Dong commune, Di An district, Binh Duong province. LHU's delegation consisted of Ms. Nguyen Ho Xuan Huong – Head of Student Affairs, Ms. Ho Thi Hai Yen - Deputy Head of Financial Affairs, Mr. Vu Van Tuan - Vice Head of Student Affairs and Mr. Nguyen Vo Son.

Here, on behalf of the Rector of LHU, Ms. Ho Thi Hai Yen handed over VND 5 million to the center. She individually supported VND 2 million in order to partly help unlucky children at the center.

Over the past years, Que Huong Charity Centre has become a regular destination of Lac Hong University collective. It  was founded and managed by Ms. Huynh Tieu Huong. Established in 2001, the center aims to follow the tradition "The good leaves protect the worn-out ones" and to help to eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.

The center is the home of many unfortunate children who are fed, cared, educated and taught. Currently, the center sponsors and brings up 332 orphaned and abandoned children from 2- 3 months old  to 14 - 15 years old. The trip to the center has brought good impression and deep feelings for the delegation's members.

The event is a meaningful activity to encourage teachers and students to continue their efforts to share with unfortunate people. Hopefully, the center will receive more support and care from near and far benefactors.
