LHU and Laborer Newspaper to co-organize Student Enrollment Day 2014

Hundreds of high school students from Bien Hoa city participated in the Student Enrollment Day event held at Lac Hong University in Dong Nai province on March 8. The event was sponsored by Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company and available online at Laborer Newspaper page. At the event participated consultants including Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia -  Deputy Director of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh city; Ho Vien Phuong, MSc - Deputy Head of Academic Affairs - LHU; Dr. Nguyen Xuan Hoan - Vice Rector of Ho Chi Minh city University of Food Industry; Mai Anh Tho, M.A - Deputy Manager of Training Department - Nong Lam University; Truong Tien Si, M.A – Deputy Manager of Banking University of Ho Chi Minh city’s Academic Affairs; Pham The Vinh, M.A - Head of Quality Assurance and Examination, University of Finance - Marketing; Ms. Nguyen Thi Phi Yen - Training Director of PSB College; Tran Thanh Vu, M.A -Vice Rector of Binh Duong Economics and Technology University; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bui Xuan An - Dean of Science and Technology Faculty, Hoa Sen University and Mr. Ngo Quoc Anh - Deputy Director of Enterprise Relation and Student Support center, Hong Bang University. The participants received academic and career advising from experts during the event.

The program focused on providing high school students with new information in entrance examination 2014, enrollment details and responses to participants' questions.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Tran Thu Thuy Vinh representing Laborer Newspaper said "Student Enrollment Day 2014 is held annually and takes place many provinces. In 2014, the program will go through 9 provinces including Dong Nai. The event today receives the great support from Lac Hong University, Binh Dien Fertilizer Joint Stock Company and the Consultancy Board. With experienced and strong advisers, high school students will be brave to express their worries about the coming entrance exam".

On his part, Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia added more information about 2014 entrance exam, specifically new changes including submission date, preferential subjects, high school graduation exam,....

Also at the event, on behalf of Lac Hong University, Ho Vien Phuong, M.A provided interested participants with information related to the University's development strategies and training scale such as key branches like Mechatronics - Electronics, Information Technology,... and some new points in entrance exam 2014. He added in 2014, Lac Hong University would enroll 2, 200 students. The University offers interdisciplinary and multi-level trainings from health, engineering, economics,..... to social science. Students can choose for their preferences. Especially, this year LHU will train new major - Economic Law.
