LHU to organize the 5th Trade Union Delegate Congress

In the morning of June 25, the 5th Trade Union Delegate Congress was held successfully at Lac Hong University with 15 comrades elected for the new Executive Committee of Trade Union.

The congress was attended by Mr. Do Huu Tuyet – Deputy Director of the Department - Deputy Director of the Representative Office of the Ministry of Education and Training in HCM city - Standing Member of National Education Union of Vietnam; Ms. Vu Thi Ngoc - Vice Chairwoman of National Education Union of Vietnam's Supervisory Committee; Ms. Pham Thi Ngoc Oanh - Trade Union's Standing Vice Chairwoman of  Dong Nai provincial Education branch; Mr. Nguyen Trung Phuong - LHU's Secretary of Party Committee. People's Teacher  Dr. Do Huu Tai - Vice Secretary of Party Committee - Chairman of Trustees Board - Rector of LHU; Dr. Diep Cam Thu - Vice Rector - Member of Supervisory Committee of National Education Union of Vietnam - Chairman of LHU Trade Union; Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector - Chairwoman of Dong Nai provincial Science and Technology Associations Union; ; Dr. Nguyen Van Nam - Vice Rector - Vice Chairman of LHU Trade Union; Lam Thanh Hien, MSc - Vice Rector - and 150 delegates representing 500 teachers and labors of the University.

The Congress has passed Congress regulations, summary report of Trade Union activities term IV and directions for term V. On the occasion, the Congress commended former members of the Trade Union Executive Committee. It also awarded certificates of merit to excellent trade union members for their outstanding contributions to the University Trade Union. The new Executive Committee of Trade Union was established at the Congress as well.

Also at the Congress, the Organizing Board called upon all participants to raise money "For national sea and island". This received enthusiastic responses of participating delegates. Hopefully, the Trade Union's new Executive Committee of term V will continue to strengthen University Trade Union activities.

The Trade Union Delegate Congress attracted the great participation of teachers and labors of LHU.
