40 LHU students to receive Nguyen Van Ky scholarship

40 LHU students have been recently honored to receive scholarships at Nguyen Van Ky Scholarship Awarding Ceremony (Mr. Ky - Former Secretary of Bien Hoa Party Committee. Each scholarship is worth from 1,5 - 3 million VND. The ceremony was organized by the provincial Standing Committee of Fatherland Front, awarding scholarships to 170 students of Lac Hong University, Dong Nai University, Dong Nai University of Technology, Luong The Vinh High School, Quyet Thang Secondary School.

Mr. Bui Quang Huy awarded scholarships to students.

The awarding ceremony was attended by Member of the Provincial Standing Committee, Chairman of the provincial Fatherland Front Committee Vy Van Vu, Deputy Head of provincial Propaganda and Education Committee Bui Quang Huy and the family of Mrs Le Thi Tru (Mr. Ky's wife).

Mrs. Le Thi Tru awarded scholarships to studious pupils.

Nguyen Van Ky Scholarship was born in 2012 with initial capital of one billion VND sponsored by Mrs Tru. For the past four years, Nguyen Van Ky scholarships have been awarded 889 ones worth more than 2,3 billion VND offered to poor and studious pupils and students. 40 LHU scholarship receivers are students with high academic results and some have difficult circumstances. In the coming time, the University will award hundreds of scholarships to students on the occasion of the Opening ceremony of academic year 2015 - 2016.
