Quynh Loan Lubricants Co. gave big sponsor to LHU's Shell Eco Marathon teams

Recently, Director of Quynh Loan Lubricants Co. Ltd Bui Van Trung and Business Manager in Ho Chi Minh City Nguyen Trung Thanh had a signing ceremony with Lac Hong University, thence sponsoring VND 100 million to two teams (LH-Gold Energy and LH-EST) participating in 2016 Shell Eco marathon Asia. The event took place at LHU's Center for Application and Scientific Research.

On behalf of Lac Hong University Management Board, Standing Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien and Dean of Mechatronics - Electronics Faculty Nguyen Vu Quynh warmly received the company's delegation and implemented the signature of cooperation agreements.

At the program, Mr. Bui Van Trung expressed his wish to accompany students who have aspirations to conquer creative challenges. According to Director of Quynh Loan Lubricants Co. Ltd, the contest "Shell Eco Marathon Asia" is a healthily competitive playground where participants can combine creativity, imagination and knowledge of technology to design fuel-efficient vehicles. In addition, the contest aims to raise the creative happiness in teamwork as well as the awareness of environmental protection for young people. He also hoped that with the companionship of the company, LHU will set up a new record at the 2016 Shell Eco Marathon Asia.

With the aspiration to surpass the record running 164.4 kilometers per liter of ethanol E100 itself at 2015 Shell Eco Marathon Asia, LH-Gold Energy and LH-EST teams have innovated and made a new product "fuel saving vehicle" at Urban concept category. Currently, these teams have been ready for the 2016 Shell Eco Marathon race.

The two teams presented their products before the company at the signing ceremony.

2016 Shell Eco Marathon Asia Contest will begin in early March in Manila, the Philippines. According to estimation made by the Organization Board, this year contest attracts more than 100 teams coming from Asia and Middle East. Lac Hong University is one of the typical teams of Vietnam to earn the ticket to take part in this intellectual and creative competition. Earlier, Lac Hong University won championship title at 2015 Shell Eco Marathon Asia with the record of 164.4 kilometers per liter of ethanol E100, ranking top 10 2014 Shell Eco marathon Asia and wining Style Award at EMC 2013 – Honda.
