LHU Intellectual Women's Association meeting to be held

Lying in a series of activities to celebrate the 86th anniversary of Vietnamese Women's Day Oct 20, recently, LHU Intellectual Women's Branch under Dong Nai provincial Intellectual Women's Association held a informal meeting at the meeting room.

Attending the meeting were Chairwoman of provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations - Chairwoman of Dong Nai Intellectual Women's Association - LHU Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Head of Intellectual Women's Branch Le Thu Thuy and all female members, officials and lecturers. At the meeting, Meritorious Teacher, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan reviewed the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women in all ages. Especially, she stressed the stable role of women in general and intellectual women in particular in participating in social activities and contributing to the development of the nation in all fields, especially in education, health ...

Also at the meeting, Head of Intellectual Women's Branch Le Thu Thuy passed a summary report on results of 2015-2016 school year and courses of action for 2016 - 2016 school year. In 2015-2016 academic year, LHU Intellectual Women's Branch effectively implemented educational propaganda, professional knowledge cultivation and enhanced political qualities and competence for female officials, lecturers and staff. Currently, LHU has 92 Master women, 12 PhD women, occupying a high rate in managing officials and lecturers. In addition women officials and lecturers enthusiastically participated in teaching and scientific research activities and gained many remarkable achievements.

The meeting took place in a happy and warm atmosphere. This was a precious occasion for all members to meet, share experience in specialty, life, career ... Hopefully with such meetings, LHU Intellectual Women's Branch members will have opportunities to update more activities of Dong Nai provincial Intellectual Women's Association as well as achievements of other intellectual women nationwide.
