Meeting to celebrate International Women's Day

In the morning of March 8, LHU Executive Committee of Trade Union in association with the University Management Board organized a traditional meeting to mark the 107th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 9, 1910-2017), the 1977th anniversary of the Trung sisters’ uprising and International Day of Happiness March 20 for all female officials, lecturers and staff. The event saw the presence of Secretary of Party Committee Nguyen Trung Phuong, Standing Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien, Chairman of Trade Union Diep Cam Thu, members of the Management Board, members of the Trade Union Executive Committee and leaders of units and departments.

At the event, on behalf of LHU women collective Ms. Le Thi Thu Huong - Members of the Trade Union Executive Committee - Head of Women's Board reviewed the history of the International Women’s Day and highlighted the glorious tradition of Vietnamese women. The meeting was an occasion to honor women's significant contributions to LHU construction and development. On behalf of all women, she received congratulation flowers from the University Party Committee. In addition, the Organization Board presented gifts including cakes and bonus to all female officials, lecturers and staff.

Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien read a poem of Macxim Gorki to present all women of LHU.

Mr. Nguyen Trung Phuong presented congratulation flowers to Head of LHU Women's Board.

Also at the meeting, Vice Rector Lam Thanh Hien respectfully presented a poem of Macxim Gorki to all female officials, lecturers and staff and sent his wishes of health and happiness to the women collective.

Mr. Diem Cam Thu on behalf of the Executive Committee of Trade Union presented gifts to female officials, lecturers and staff.
