Closing and opening ceremony of Vietnamese course for international students

On the morning of October 9, 2023, the Faculty of Oriental Studies, Department of Vietnamese for Foreigners and the Office of International Affairs, LHU jointly organized a ceremony to close the 2022 Vietnamese course and open the 2023 Vietnamese language training course for international students.

The ceremony attracted the participation of Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Huu Nghi - Dean of Faculty of Oriental Studies; MSc. Nguyen Trong Vinh - Head of Office of Academic Affairs; Dr. Nguyen Van Trung - Director of Center of Admissions and Public Relations; Nguyen Thi Hoang Oanh, M.A - Head of Office of International Affairs; Hoang Tien Dung, M.A - Deputy Head of Office of International Affairs, along with staff, lecturers and especially international students from China, Cambodia, Malaysia and Philippines.

Delivering her opening remark, Vice Rector Nguyen Thi Thu Lan warmly welcomed all the students to LHU. She also expressed a deep sense of gratitude to Dong Nai provincial People's Committee for its trust and assigning LHU to train Vietnamese language for foreign students.

At the event, the University summarized the results and awarded certificates of Vietnamese completion to Cambodian students who took a one-year Vietnamese course at LHU. These students will continue their four-year journey to pursue the Pharmacist major at LHU. 

On the occasion, the ceremony welcomed new students who will take a one-year Vietnamese language course, in the school year 2023 - 2024. Also, the University introduced the study program, learning procedures, lecturers in charge, accommodations, and answered questions related to the curriculum and student life.

LHU commits to create the best conditions for students participating in the course. Hopefully, they will have memorable experiences at LHU.
