LHU participates in VietTESOL International Conference 2024

Representing LHU, Pham Thi Nghia, M.A - lecturer of the Faculty of English Language attended and reported at the VietTESOL International Convention 2024 themed “English Language Education in the Age of Artificial Intelligence" hosted by University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City, from July 26 to 28, 2024.

VietTESOL is an annual international convention organized by the Vietnam Association of English Language Teaching and Research (VTA) in collaboration with the National Foreign Language Project (NFLP) and University of Economics Ho Chi Minh City. This year's event attracted the participation of many scientists, lecturers, and teachers across the country and some countries in the world such as the US, UK, Cambodia, Malaysia,...

The convention aims to develop and enhance the effectiveness of academic exchange activities, practical knowledge and experience sharings, at the same time connecting teachers with researchers and educators at home and abroad in English research and teaching, contributing to the strong English teaching community in Vietnam.

Participating in the convention for the first time, Ms. Pham Thi Nghia served as a presenter with the topic "Digital Tools in Project-based Group Assessments: Insights from Tertiary EFL Students’ Experiences", co-authored with two lecturers from Nong Lam University and University of Finance and Marketing. Their presentation attracted the attention of many attendees jointly contributing and sharing their teaching and research experiences. Accordingly, she has learned more useful knowledge and experience, contributing to improving her teaching and research skills.
