The first politics course
On September 5th, 2010, LHU new students started the first politics class at the school.
According to the annual studying plan of universities, the beginning politics course provides new students with basic knowledge on training regulations, the Ministry of Education and Training’s student work and the school’s, orientations and missions 2010-2011, helping them grasp the nation's current social, political and economic situations and the local as well, learners’ tasks in order to meet the needs of society.
In the classes today, at the lecture hall A301 (Campus 1) and E 501 (Campus 3), Dr. Tran Hanh – Headmaster of LHU had a meeting with the new students. He informed them of what requirements a student must have when studying at LHU. These are they must understand the school’s long-term and basic educational objectives and tasks, the campaign "Bon That"; the campaign "friendly school, active students" of the Ministry of Education and Training. Lam Thanh Hien, MA - Vice Rector, Head of Training Department also met students and help them to be clear that the credit training program will be applied from this year. In order to facilitate the students’ learning and research, Mr. Huynh Cao Tuan - Deputy Director of Information and Resources Centre instructed them how to use the school’s supporting services.
Also, in the first course, each new student was distributed a 2010-2011 yearbook. This book provides students with basic information to help them clearly visualize the scope of activities of LHU and it is also the most important handbook - the official booklet for students’ references during their learning time.
