Lac Hong University signing up with Toeic Vietnam
To standardize the output quality of students in order to provide the labor market with workforce having not only qualifications but also fluent foreign language skill, right from the first stage, leadership of the Lac Hong University has focused on building training programs in order to meet these requirements. From the project "Development of standards for English using ability of Lac Hong University’s students by TOEIC program" reported in 2006, until now, Lac Hong University has been confident to apply the Toeic output standard for graduates (750 points for students of foreign languages and 400 points for students of other branches).
In the afternoon of October 6th, 2010, Dr. Tran Hanh – Headmaster of Lac Hong University and Mr Doan Hong Nam- President of IIG Vietnam signed a contract for the supply of international Toeic testing service at the school. Attending the signing session were also Ngo Thi Xuan Lien, M.A - Director of the Lac Hong Toeic Center and Ms. Vu Bich Ngoc - Representative of IIG Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City.
Hopefully, the cooperation between the two sides will contribute to the employee development not only meeting the requirements of the Vietnamese labor market but also making Vietnamese labors’ qualifications more powerful, intelligent in the current trend of global integration.
