Enrollment consultancy at Lac Hong University

     Participating in the consultancy program were  Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia – Deputy Director of Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, Dr. Tran Hanh – Rector of Lac Hong University, leaders of  University of Economics, University of Transport ,University of Technical Education, Nong lam University, University of Finance and Marketing, University of Law, Medical University and also with the participation of more than 2,000 high school students from Bien Hoa City  and the four  districts of Vinh Cuu, Long Thanh, Nhon Trach and Trang Bom.

 

    The festival, in the general consultancy part, has provided students with detailed information on the entrance exam 2011. Dr. Nguyen Duc Nghia noted the three new points in the entrance examination this year. Firstly, foreign students can attend colleges without entrance exams. These schools just check the Vietnamese speaking ability of candidates. Secondly, registration time will be from March 14^th to April 14^th . This turn, students studying at their high schools can submit registration forms at their own schools, whereas, others can  send them to places assigned by the Department of Education and Training. After that, they can submit additional registration forms from April 15^th onwards. Thirdly, when candidates pass the entrance exams, they do not need to submit admission records but bring papers related to the subject, area. Also, other information is the same as the previous year. Specifically, the entrance exam 2011 will follow the three common methods. These are the same course, the same exam question and the use of the same result for admission. On August 15^th, colleges will inform their quotas, expectation 2 so that students can follow to choose their own career opportunities.

 

    In the general consultancy part, Dr. Tran Hanh - Director of Lac Hong University also provided students with updated information about human resources needs in Dong Nai, strengths and preferences as well as advantages when studying at Lac Hong University. In his opinion, Dong Nai at present has many industrial zones, so the demand for human resources is very high. As forecast, these places may need about 5,000 to 8,000 qualified employees especially those who major in technology. The school has a Board of apprenticeship dealing with business relations in Dong Nai and neighboring provinces to find jobs for students. As a result, 90% students of Lac Hong University have been contracted before their graduation. In addition, while studying at the Lac Hong University, students can save most of the cost of living and learning, compared with studying in schools in big cities.  Entering Lac Hong University, candidates will be favored according to Article 33 of the enrollment regulations (the school training manpower for localities, priority marks for areas will be doubled). Students studying at the University Lac Hong can also enjoy many benefits such as life care, scholarships, charitable kitchen and so on. Each year, the  school spend VND three billion for the best students and poor students. The highest level of scholarship one student can get is VND 25 million.
 
    Apart from the consultancy part with leading experts in enrollment field for the general information of the enrollment 2011, students participated in each in-depth consultancy part about economics group such as medicine and pharmacy, agriculture and forestry, environment; social sciences group such as foreign language , media, military, public security and science and technology group such as technology, construction, architecture.
