Handover ceremony of outpatient medical treatment software to Dong Nai hospital
Aware of the importance of research activities and training to social needs, Lac Hong University has promoted scientific research in the whole school. Its students are regularly sent to companies and factories to work, thereby forming a variety of topics highly applicable. As a result, students of Lac Hong University have been very successful in technology invention competitions such as prizes for scientific research of ministry and provincial level, especially the resounding success of the Robocon 2010.
The software "Outpatient Medical Treatment in Dong Nai Polyclinic Hospital" is a product formed in the process of scientific research of lecturers and students in accordance with the school philosophy, together with businesses to solve problems of everyday life. This software is capable of supporting the management, monitoring and medical treatment - one of the most difficult and manpower consuming stages. Functions of the software are quite flexible and changeable unlike other common software, helping doctors and employees reduce the risk of missing information in medical procedures.
Dated 12 March 2011, at Dong Nai Polyclinic Hospital, the handover ceremony of the software "Outpatient Medical Treatment” took place. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Tran Huong – Vice Director of Representative Office of the southern Ministry of Education and Training in Ho Chi Minh, Ms.Vu Thi Dinh – Vice Chairman of public health Union, Dr. Tran Hanh - Rector of Lac Hong University, Dr. Phan Huy Anh Vu - Director of Dong Nai Polyclinic Hospital and representatives of the provincial colleges, departments and branches.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Tran Huong - Vice Director of Representative Office of the southern Ministry of Education and Training has appreciated technology transfer of Lac Hong University. It not only creates the software but also provides equipment and wholeheartedly instructs the team of doctors and staff how to use the software most effectively.
Along with projects successfully transferred to agencies and enterprises in Dong Nai province previously, the completion of the project "Outpatient medical treatment in Dong Nai Polyclinic Hospital" has offered Lac Hong University an opportunity to step into a larger playing field, bringing the province many benefits. The successful handover of the project is a prerequisite for the Dong Nai province and state agencies to freely invest in research topics that are highly applicable in practice at universities.
Handing over the software is also a Lac Hong University’s wish to have a worthy gift given to the people of Dong Nai where Lac Hong University is located.
