Meeting with a managerial expert of Taiwan Export Processing Zone
In the afternoon of 16 March 2011, Lac Hong University had a meeting with Ms. Luu Thuy Anh – a specialist of Management Board of Export Processing Zone - Taiwan Ministry of Economic Affairs.
During the meeting, Dr. Tran Hanh and Ms Luu Thuy Anh have discussed cooperative training program between Lac Hong University and universities in Taiwan. According to Ms. Anh, Lac Hong University and some Taiwan universities can cooperate with one another to send students to Taiwan to go to universities or to get higher education or to get master or doctoral degrees. In addition, it can open management-training classes for small and medium enterprises.
On behalf of the school, Dr. Tran Hanh sent his thanks to Ms Anh for her interest in and support to it. He also showed that to promote cooperative training activities, Lac Hong University and other Taiwan universities have to sign the cooperation agreement and then complete the proposal for cooperative training of each branch to the Ministry of Education and Training for approval. For the opening of management training classes for small and medium enterprises, Dr. Tran Hanh also expects that universities in Taiwan should have a specific training program so that the school can notify the Management Board of the Bien Hoa Industrial Park for consideration. If necessary, Lac Hong University and one of the associate schools will submit course projects to the authorities.
