Lac Hong to warmly welcome Robocon team coming back from Thailand
Afternoon of August 30, representatives of Dong Nai province and leaders of Lac Hong University along with Robocon lovers warmly welcomed Robocon team coming back from AUB Asia Pacific Robot Contest held in Thailand. After five days of competing in Thailand, the team has arrived in Tan Son Nhat airport in Ho Chi Minh City in expectation and welcome of all people.
Representing Viet Nam to participate in the 2011 Asia Pacific Robot Contest, Robocon Lac Hong won bronze at the contest. Though the team could not fulfill the university’s initial target, it has still been a strong rival in the international arena. Surpassing 15 typical teams from universities and colleges in the region to take third place, Robocon Lac Hong was highly appreciated by the Organization Board as well as other competitors. This is also a great achievement Lac Hong has gained in the international contest this year. Hopefully, the contestants will draw experience from the contest to be able to stand in the highest position.
On the occasion, representing Dong Nai’s leadership, Vice Chairman of provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Tri and Chairwoman of the provincial Front Fatherland Committee Nguyen Thi Kim Lien presented flowers to Lac Hong University to welcome its success.
