Department of Korean Studies joined in Hangeul Festival 2012

More than Lac Hong University’s 100 students of Korean Studies - Faculty of Oriental Studies took part in Hangeul Festival 2012 on November 4 at University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The event was held by Korea Foundation, Korean Cultural Institute and KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency) in cooperation with University of Social Sciences and Humanities. The festival attracted the great participation of nearly 1,000 students coming from Southern universities and colleges.

The festival were held to mark the 20th anniversary of Vietnam - Korea diplomatic relations (1992-2012), offering an exchange among Korean training units and strengthen the relation between Vietnam and Korea.

At the event, many cultural activities and game shows were held such as Korean calligraphy, folk games, Vietnamese – Korean traditional food, K-pop performance, camp decoration “Korean space”. Closing the festival, students of Lac Hong were awarded second prize of “K-STAR performance” and third prize of “Korean space” by the Organization Board.
