Meeting to celebrate Teachers’ Day and sum up university activities

On the occasion of the 30^th anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20, 1982 – November 20, 2012), a meeting was held on November 19, 2012 at A301 to sum up activities and to honor Teachers for their outstanding achievements by the Trade Union Executive Committee in cooperation with chapters. Earlier, a series of activities have been held in Lac Hong University to celebrate the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and and mark the 15^th founding anniversary of Lac Hong University.

Present at the event were Rector of the university People’s Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai, Vice Rectors Dr.  Diep Cam Thu, Lam Thanh Hien, M.A, Dr. Nguyen Van Nam, Meritorious Teacher. Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Heads of department and offices and a great number of teachers and staff.

Speaking at the event, Ms. Ho Thi Hai Yen - Head of Women Board representing the Trade Union Executive Committee summarized university activities during the past year. On the occasion, the Managing Board and Trade Union Executive Committee presented flowers to Rector Dr. Do Huu Tai for his People’s Teacher noble title.

Also at the meeting, outstanding collectives and individuals in educational activities as well as arts and sports activities were awarded flowers and certificates of merit in recognition of their achievements.
