Meeting to deploy day-students mission for 2012 – 2013

In the morning of 8^th December, 2012 a meeting was held at Lac Hong University to discuss day-students mission for 2012 – 2013. On behalf of Lac Hong University, there was the present of Vice Rector Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, representatives from Student Affairs, dormitory, Youth Union and faculties. Attending the meeting were also Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Tam – Chairwoman of Buu Long ward People’s Committee, Mr. Pham Duy Hung – Deputy Head of Buu Long ward Public Security, Dormitory Management Board of Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts and more than 40 owners of boarding houses in Buu Long ward.

At the meeting, representing Lac Hong University - Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan signed with the representative of the local authorities Ms Nguyen Thi Thu Tam  for cooperation in managing day-students. Through the signing ceremony, the university and local authorities will reinforce close cooperation in managing day-students to implement movements of public order preservation, crimes and social evils prevention, to actively take part in the movement of “The whole people protect the country’s security” in the locality in particular and Bien Hoa city in general.

The meeting also showed the good relationship between the university, the authorities and people in managing day-students. The owners of rooms for rent also sincerely shared their opinions, experience as well as difficulties they encounter in managing day-students. They pointed out positive solutions and promised to make their boarding houses standard and civilized.

Following the own advantages, in the coming time, the university will continue its effort to coordinate with the local authorities and masters of boarding houses in the locality to grasp information about day-students and build more standard boarding houses. They also jointly strive for building a good environment for students to learn and train.
