Presenting gifts to Que Huong Humanitarian Center

A delegation from Lac Hong University on 10 December, 2012 visited and presented gifts for unlucky children at the Que Huong Charity Centre for Disabled Children in Tan Hiep Dong commune, Di An district, Binh Duong province. The delegation consisted of Dr. Nguyen Van Nam – Vice Rector, Ms. Nguyen Ho Xuan Huong – Head of Student Affairs, comrade Tran Tien – Deputy Secretary of Youth Union and other comrades.

Over the past years, in addition to training, research activities and technology transfer, teachers and students of Lac Hong University have always paid special attention to charity activity. They have made efforts to take care of difficult children, AO/dioxin affected children, disabled children and orphans… Que Huong Charity Centre for Handicapped Children is a regular destination of Lac Hong University. The event is a meaningful activity to encourage teachers and students to continue their efforts to share with unfortunate people.

On the occasion of the 11th founding anniversary of Que Huong Humanitarian Center, Dr. Nguyen Van Nam on behalf of the university leadership donated money to raise for the charity fund of the center. In addition, On behalf of Rector People’s Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai, he presented 10 wheelchairs worth VND 12 million to unfortunate children at the Que Huong Center.
