More than VND 10 million donated to the poor in New Year's Eve

Lac Hong University’s Department of Student Affairs recently donated more than VND 10 million to poor students, patients, and people in the locality.

Earlier, the university raised more than VND 14 million through mobilizing its teachers. More than VND 10 million was presented to poor people. The rest of the money was put in the charity fund of the university's Trade Union.

Right in New Year's Eve, staff of Student Affairs handed over Tet gifts to poor students at boarding houses, poor patients at Dong Nai hospital and people at rubbish dumps in Bien Hoa city.

This is one of the Department's annual activities to help poor people to enjoy a happy Lunar New Year festival.
