LHU’s outstanding youth Party members honored

A ceremony was held on March 26 at the Meeting-hall of Dong Nai province's Police to mark the 82nd anniversary of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union (March 26, 1931 -  2013) and honour oustanding Youth Union members with the great participation of delegates from different department, agencies, localities and more than 500 typical youth members across the province. The event was organized by the provincial Youth Union. LHU was honored to have 6 individuals and 1 collective who were commended at the event, including 5 outstanding  individuals recognized as typical young Party members by provincial Youth Union. They were  Deputy Standing Secretary of Youth Union Tran Tien; Deputy Secretary of YU Vu Van Tuan; Members of YU Standing Committee Mai Duy Dat and Le Phu Dong; and Member of YU Central Committee Dang Dai Hung.

This honor was reserved for Youth Union cadres, Youth members as Party members who excellently fulfilled tasks during the three consecutive years from 2010-2012 at the ages from 18 – 30 and appointed by the university’s Youth Union Standing Committee. The criteria consisted of great contributions to Youth work and movements of the locality and unit; good Implementation of Party’s lines and policies and Nation’s laws; good qualities and manners, best behavior with other members and high credit; active participation in “Learning and following President Ho Chi Minh’s moral example” via concrete actions and results and being recommended by the Youth Union Central Committee and confirmed by the executive committee of the Party hierarchy.

One individual and one collective honored in Youth Month 2013 included comrade Nguyen Xuan Chuong - Member of YU Central Committee, YU Secretary of the Faculty of Chemical and Food Engineering and the Faculty of Chemical and Food Engineering’s Youth Union Central Committee. This honor was approved by Dong Nai province’s Youth Union for their outstanding achievements in Youth Month’s activities.
