5th Alumni Reunion held

The 5th Alumni Reunion was held at Room B 203 on March 30 with the attendance of Rector People’s Teacher Dr. Do Huu Tai, representatives of the Managing Board and nearly 150 typical alumni.

Tran Dung, M.A – Director of Enterprise Relation – Student Support Center, Head of Alumni Liaison Committee is making a summary report.

The link between alumni and the University is one of the great contributions to the growth of LHU and student generations. Alumni reunion has become a good tradition, together with LHU, overcoming several difficulties in bringing students to employers.

In his speech, Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Hoa –Director of Long Khanh Social Insurance – alumnus of Information Technology said “After 5 years coming back to school, I have seen that a young University of former times is now changing its look from the development of infrastructure to training missions. I myself still feel my teachers’ devotion as ever. Entering the real life, I have received great assistance from older generations. Therefore, as the role of a current alumnus, I hope the alumni network will be more extended to share experience and strengthen the mutual support in life. In my opinion, the success of each individual not only brings him the bright future but also is the pride of being a student of LHU”.

Also at the reunion, the participants ardently discussed some issues including mutual support in learning, real life and business production; establishment of practical activities in order to help students’ lives, apprenticeship, employment; suggestions to build the University at all aspects from teaching, learning, creating more activities,…

Alumnus Le Huu Nghia - Deputy Director of Bien Hoa Tax Dpartment is making some suggestions at the reunion.

Speaking at the reunion, the Rector also sent his sincere feelings that “The University’s brand name is more proven via the success of student generations. The outstanding achievement today besides teachers’ devotion is made from significant contributions of alumni and students as well. To me, the biggest success of the University is training generations of students who are enriching the society. So, the alumni’s contribution is a major decision in success of failure of the University”.
