LHU held the 10th Annual Teacher Research Conference

On June 29, the 10th Annual Teacher Research Conference of Lac Hong University was held with 38 topics including 14 economics and humanities and 24 technical ones. The conference was divided into four subcommittees and lasted during the day. The assessment criteria included theory, scientific and realistic significance, research methodology, presentation, scientific value, practical value, study results, and new contributions.

The conference received the great care from Vice Rector Meritorious Teacher Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan - Chairwoman of Provincial Union of Science and Technology Associations, representatives of the University Management Board, heads of units and enterprises who directly received values from research topics.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan expressed her belief that research outcome besides recognition from the Assessment Council was a reason to show improvement in research activities. In order to enhance the quality of research projects, the University Management Board has directed the implementation of some matters such as deploying anti-plagiarism software, digital application in topics of economics, social and humanities, ....

On the occasion, the University Management Board honored and awarded certificates of merit to some young lecturers for their excellent achievements at Vietnam Young Science Talent Award 2012 and Vietnam Technical Invention 2012.

Opening the representation part, the group of authors Pham Van Toan, Nguyen Ba Thuan, Nguyen Ha Thoai Phi, Le Phuong Long and Ngo Thanh Binh reported the topic "Designing and making automatic assembling machine SSR1" which received the great interest and suggestions from the Assessment Council.

Scientific research is a traditional activity of LHU lecturers and students in order to expand the brand name and training quality of the university. The results of research movement not only satisfy the need of society but also is the reason for evaluating the teaching and training quality of the school. From here, research topics and technical solutions will be present at technology invention contests at national and ministry levels. It is hoped that LHU - a non-public educational unit will gained more achievements in scientific research movements.
