LHU Labor Union and Youth Union received third class Labor Medal

In  the morning of August 30, LHU delegation including Secretary of Party Committee Nguyen Trung Phuong, Vice Rector Dr. Nguyen Thi Thu Lan, Vice Rector - Chairman of Labor Union Dr. Diep Cam Thu, Vice Rector - Vice Chairman of Labor Union Dr. Nguyen Van Nam, Secretary of Youth Union Le Son Quang, Dean of Electro Mechanics  - Head of Robocon delegation Nguyen Ba Thuan, M.A, representatives of units, instructors and members of Robocon teams 2013 gathered at Dong Nai province Sports House to attend a ceremony to celebrate the 68th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19)  and National Day (September 2) and to award Party and Nation's noble rewards to excellent individuals and collectives.

On the occasion, Chairman of Socialist Republic of Vietnam decided to present two third class Labor Medals to LHU Labor Union and Youth Union. Also, Chairman of Dong Nai provincial People's Committee unexpectedly awarded certificates of merit to the two Robocon teams LH-SEE and LH-EAGLE for their excellent achievements at Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2013.

At the ceremony, nearly 120 collectives and individuals were acknowledged and honored. Specifically, a unit was conferred title "Hero of the people's armed forces". Six collectives and individuals received Great Unity Medal. Two collectives and one individual were awarded third class Labor Medal. 11 collectives received Emulation Flag and 28 collectives and 68 individuals got certificates of merit of the State President. Particularly, LHU Robot delegation was awarded bonus over VND 400 million by Dong Nai provincial People's Committee.
