LHU won Third Prize at 2015 Koma Taisen competition

Recently, on 10th October Koma Taisen teams coming from universities and enterprises majored in mechanical engineering competed in the second Koma Taisen in Ho Chi Minh City, held by Esuhai Company mandated by Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and Japan Koma Taisen Association.

LHU Koma Taisen team received Third Prize from the Organizing Board.

At the contest, LHU Koma Taisen team competed with other participating competitors coming from mechanical companies and mechanical training universities. As a result, LHU team won Third Prize and Industrial University of Ho Chi Minh City took Second Place at the competition. The winner was Hoang An Mechanical Co. which will also take part in the World Championship Sekai Koma Taisen 2015" in Japan.

Hoang An Mechanical Company (Japan's mechanical enterprise) won First Prize at the competition.

Koma Taisen is a spintop competition annually held in Japan, attracting the participation of nearly 2,000 enterprises and universities. The competition was held first in Vietnam in 2014. Through this contest, Association of Japan's enterprises wishes to look for businesses and universities or colleges which major in Mechanical Engineering to exchange experience and speed up cooperation relation between Vietnam and Japan. The competition is also an opportunity for all schools to seek investment from Japan businesses, popularize their majors and introduce their students to recruiters in the field of exact mechanical process.

As prescribed, the Koma (spintops) must have a diameter of 20mm ±0.005 (including sub parts), without restriction on materials and weight. The competition ring is made by polystyrene, having a diameter of 250 millimeters.
