In order to highlight the national tradition of “Mutual affection” and “Good leaves protect tattered ones, on 21 April 2011, Standing Committee of Lac Hong Union in cooperation with Dong Nai province’s Agent Orange/Dioxin Victims’ Association facilitated excellent union members and youths to visit and donate presents to 20 AO/ dioxin victims in Cam My and Dinh Quan districts, Dong Nai province. On behalf of the school Union, there was comrade Tran Hoang Minh – Vice Secretary of Union, Vive President of Student Association. In addition, there was Vice Chairwoman of Dong Nai provincial AO/dioxin Victims’ Association Nguyen Thi Ngoc Hanh.  The delegation visited AO victims families and present gifts to them each including 20 kilos of rice and VND 400 thousand. Besides, Mrs. Ho Thi Hai Yen – Deputy Manager of Finance Department, Head of Women’s Board donated 20 gifts to 20 victims, each worth VND 70 thousand ( including a can of milk, cakes, half a liter of cooking oil and half a kilo of sugar). Through this visit, it has contributed to educating union members and youths about our precious tradition of " remembering the source when drinking water”, giving them more understanding of difficult circumstances of dioxin victims.
