LHU- the champion of Robocon Vietnam 2011 earns the ticket toThailand

No one can describe Lac Hong University’s happiness in the final round of Robocon Vietnam 2011 in full. After thrilling and oppressive atmosphere, Lac Hong’s supporters have been bursting with pride when LH B7 absolutely wins Loy Krathong within 90 seconds. Awarded a collection of prizes in the final, LHU has satisfied Robocon lovers’ desire to reach the top of technology.

It is not so difficult to recognize heartened facial features of students from Lac Hong University. That 6 teams enter the final round has been Lac Hong teachers’ and students’ pride. Lac Hong has also been honored when it becomes the national champion of Robocon this year and the representative of Vietnam in the forthcoming international robot contest. The great achievements gained today are due to students’ passion for research and invention as well as the school’s investments. This has proven that Lac Hong University has chosen a completely right direction.

Lac Hong University again wins the national championship title at  Robocon 2011.

Road to victory is not always covered with roses. Recalling hard days of research and robot invention, instructors and team members are persistent and determined to defend their championship title. When Robocon 2010 was over, groups of robot lovers were set up. After the theme and game rules had been issued, these teams began to make robots. Besides, they have been offered seminars and competitions to help them get experience, correct, upgrade and better robots.  Moreover, each competition is never without familiar faces of Dr. Tran Hanh, Lam Thanh Hien, M.A, etc… who have closely followed Robocon movement to encourage and give them material and spiritual support.

With 6 teams selected for the national final competition, Lac Hong University has proven to be powerful and consistent in Robocon season this year, affirming its status in robot invention. Lac Hong University has defended its national championship title of Robocon for the second time. This victory not only shows Lac Hong students’ abilities but also rejects unexpected opinions about a private school competing with well-known public ones that have ever gained Robocon prizes in VietNam.

Prizes for the winner this year are VND 40 mil, a ticket to the Asia-Pacific Robot Contest 2011, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand in August, USD 1, 000 from Asian Broadcasting Union (ABU), VND 10 mil from the contest's sponsor Toyota and a guided tour to Australia financed by Australian ambassador.

Retaining the national championship title for the second time, Robocon lovers of Lac Hong and all those who love this contest again have rights to hope that LH B7 will create an exploit at Asia –Pacific Robocon 2011.
