Meeting to mark 60th anniversary of the National Education Union of Vietnam

To mark the 60th anniversary of the National Education Union of Vietnam (July 22, 1951 – July 22, 2011), Lac Hong’s Trade Union organized a ceremony on July 13 for its members to review the glorious tradition of the National Education Union of Vietnam and to enhance awareness of the importance of Trade Union’s activities among teachers and staff.

 

The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Trung Phuong – Lac Hong’s Party Committee Secretary,  Diep Cam Thu, M.A – Vice Rector, Chairman of Lac Hong’s Trade Union, Ms. Ho Thi Hai Yen- Deputy Manager of Finance Department, Head of Women’s Board, representatives from departments, agencies, centers and a great number of excellent trade union members.

 

At the ceremony, Diep Cam Thu, M.A has reviewed the glorious history and traditions of the National Education Union of Vietnam. On July 22, 1951, at the National Education Union Congress held in Viet Bac, Provisional executive committee of the National Education Union of Vietnam was officially established with the functions to gather, mobilize staff and teachers in educational agencies and schools to implement their specialized tasks and serve the Resistance.  The Committee has 15 commissioners undertaken by Chief Secretary Nguyen Cat Tuong . From then on , it has experienced 12 congresses.

 

Lac Hong’s Trade Union was founded on September 6, 2000. So far, it has organized many practical and meaningful activities for teachers and staff to participate. In addition, it has been awarded many emulation flags and certificates of merit by the National Education Union of Vietnam for its excellent performance in activities and movements.

 

 

Lac Hong’s Trade Union organizes a meeting to mark the 60^th founding anniversary of the National Education Union of Vietnam.
