Live TV program on enrollment consultancy 2011 held at Lac Hong University
In the afternoon of August 13, enrollment consultancy program 2011 was broadcast live from Dong Nai – based Lac Hong University by the Scientific and Educational Department - Vietnam Television in cooperation with Vietnamese Association of Non-public Colleges and Universities and Quoc Anh International Education Consultancy Company Ltd. (Quoc Anh IEC).
Attending the program was representatives of Lac Hong University, Binh Duong University, Ho Chi Minh University of Technology, Sai Gon Arts, Culture and Tourism College, Arena Multimedia Art Training School.
At the event, the Organizing Board congratulated Lac Hong University on its 7th rank in Viet Nam and 98th rank in top 100 schools ranked in Southeast Asia by Webometrics - a ranking web of world universities.
On this occasion, Dr. Tran Hanh – Rector of Lac Hong University has shared the school’s strengths in training following social needs. According to him, Dong Nai – based Lac Hong University locates in the Southern key economic zone of Viet Nam, which helps the school complete its mission – providing highly qualified human resources for the businesses without retraining programs. The school has joined hands with enterprises in training, promoted research activities and technology transfer, and helped its students find jobs after graduation. According to the student supporting Board, academic year 2009 – 2010, over 90 % Lac Hong’s students signed up with enterprises before their graduation. In addition, Lac Hong University has annually organized many charity programs such as offering scholarships to outstanding and poor students, launching charity kitchen…
Also at the live television program, Lam Thanh Hien, M.A – Head of Training Department provided audiences with information about enrollment needs of the school. Currently, it has enrolled 60 % students for expectation 1, and the remaining 40 % for forthcoming expectation 2 (about from 1000 to 1200 students).
