560 volunteers participate in blood donation campaign

In order to mark the 15^th anniversary of university establishment, at the campus 3, Lac Hong University’s Youth Union cooperated with Dong Nai province’s Red Cross Association and Cho Ray Regional Blood Transfusion and Haematology Centre in the morning of October 15, 2012 to launch a humanitarian blood donation program with the theme “A drop of blood, Millions of hearts” (Mot giot mau, Trieu tam long)

This is the second time in 2012 the university has organized the blood donation program. The event received the wholehearted support from 560 volunteers who are youth members, teachers, students and staff. Accordingly, 560 blood units were collected and provided to hospitals.

Lac Hong University has been appreciated as the leading unit in blood donation movement by Dong Nai province People’s Committee and Mobilization Board for Voluntary Blood Donation. Through this program, the university calls for teachers and students to raise their awareness of blood donation and encourages them to be be involved in the movements.

The blood donation campaign attracts the great participation of students.

Teachers and staff also enthusiastically join blood donation event.
