Phan Anh Duc won Consolation Prize at 6th National Vietnamese - Korean Speaking Contest

On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Korea - Vietnam relationship, Korean consulate in Ho Chi Minh city in cooperation with Korea - Vietnam Culture Communication Center held the 6th National Vietnamese - Korean Speaking Contest. Contestants are Vietnamese students who are studying Korean language at higher education institutions nationwide and Korean students who are learning Vietnamese at Vietnamese universities and training units.

The preliminary rounds took place on September 28, 2012 at contestants’ own universities and the qualifying rounds took place on October 26, 2012 at Korea - Vietnam Culture Communication Center headquartered in Ha Noi, Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh city. The contest attracted hundreds of contestants from universities across the country. Contestants competed in three categories – writing (testing and composing), writing and direct interview, eloquence and best answer.

The best fifteen contestants have been selected for the final round of the competition which was held on 8 December, 2012 at  REX Hotel in Ho Chi Minh city.

Phan Anh Duc of class 09DH111 won Consolation Prize with certificate of achievement and USD 100 from the Organizing Board.

The Organizing Board also presented one Special, one First, one Second, one Third and other prizes.
