6 teams from LHU enter final round of Robocon Vietnam 2013

48 teams from 12 universities and colleges in the southern region gathered at the Rach Mieu Sports House, Phu Nhuan district, HCM City on April 5 to take part in the qualifying round of Robocon Vietnam 2013 contest. 

This year, there were 8 teams from Dong Nai-based Lac Hong University participating in the regional qualifying round. The competition with the theme “The Green Planet” concluded on Sunday, April 7. As a result, the Organizing Board has selected 10 teams including 6 teams from LHU, 3 teams from HCM City University of Technology and 1 team from Tran Dai Nghia University for the final round, which will be held in Thien Son Sports House, Da Nang city in May. 10 teams from the Southern region will join the 12 teams from the North and 10 teams from the Central region in the national final competition. From there, the national champion will represent Vietnam in the 12th ABU Asia-Pacific Robot Contest to be held in Da Nang city, Vietnam in August.
