Exchange program between students and enterprises

Recently, LHU’ s Faculty of Business Administration and Foreign Trade held a exchange program with the theme “ The Art of Leadership”. This is a practical activity in order to help students widen their career knowledge and improve necessary skills to well prepare for their future jobs.

Attending the program was the Dean Dr. Nguyen Van Tan, Director of Business Relation and Student Support Centre Tran Dung, M.A and a great number of teachers and students. Invited guests included Mrs. Nguyen Thi Bach Mai – CEO of Dong Nai Port Joint - Stock Co. and her colleagues and Mr. Pham Van Vui – Vice CEO of VMEP Co. and his colleagues.

Speaking at the program, Dr. Nguyen Van Tan said “This is a precious chance for students to approach practical experience besides knowledge taught at university. It will be a good preparation for students to have a right future. This is also a good occasion for enterprises and experts to learn about students’ difficulties to join hands with the university, contributing to the development of future generations”.

On the occasion, students at all levels received useful advice around issues relating to soft skills, convincing skill, interviewing skill, CV presenting skill,… and career advising from invited experts. Especially, the experts have laid a stress on leadership art by 4 Ts “Tien, Tam, Tinh and Tam” (Money, Heart, Love and Range”; SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threats) and 4 Ws “What, Who, Why and How”.

The exchange program has certainly benefited the University in education missions and students in living and career skills as well. It can be said that practical activities and consultancy programs always receive high attention from the University Management Board and great support from Enterprises, helping to increase the training quality.
