Opening ceremony of postgraduate programs - 2nd intake
On the morning of December 4th, 2010, LHU held the opening ceremony of the postgraduate programs including two majors: Information Technology and Business Administration.
After being authorized to train Business Administration and Information Technology by the Ministry of Education and Training, LHU has been successfully training the first course. Currently, 83 postgraduates of the 1st course are improving their Master theses to prepare for presentations in March and in September, respectively next year.
Attending and celebrating the opening ceremony were Ms. Huynh Thi Nga - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai provincial Peoples’ Committee, Mr. Nguyen Trung Phuong - Secretary of the Party Committee; Dr. Do Huu Tai – Chairman of Board of Trustees; Dr. Tran Hanh - Rector and leaders of faculties, departments and centers.
Addressing the ceremony, Dr. Tran Hanh - Rector congratulated 132 new postgraduates of the two majors of Business Administration and Information Technology. He hopes that these postgraduates will study well, have choices and research intensive topics to be able to develop them when conditions for higher learning are available. He also expects both these postgraduates and 83 former ones to study well to create good prerequisites for next generations.
In messages from a former postgraduate, Mr. Dinh Duc Hoa (Monitor of MBA - 1st course) sent his experience in research, group activities, essay writing, presentations ... to the next postgraduates. Particularly, he stresses that these postgraduates should take full advantage of the University’s modern library in learning and research processes.
According to statistics from the Department of Postgraduate on the average age of postgraduates, those who are under 30 years old make up the highest percentage (60%), followed by those who aged 30-40 (34%) and above 40 (6%).
