Lac Hong University won one First and two Second at “Vietnam Young Science Talent Award 2012 for Teachers”
Vietnam Young Science Talent Award 2012 for Students was firstly held by the Ministry of Education and Training in cooperation with the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Vietnam Union Of Science And Technology Association (Vietnam Fund For Supporting Technological Creations - VIFOTEC), the Central Committee of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Vietnam Television and Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).
In 2012, there were 94 research works of teachers coming from 32 nationwide universities participating in "Vietnam Young Science Talent Award 2012 for Teachers". Among them, there were 88 works of 31 public universities and 6 works of 1 non – public.
As a result, there were 5 First, 18 Second, 21 Third, 26 Consolation and 24 no-prizes. Non - public university had 1 First, 2 Second and 1 Consolation.
About ranking, Lac Hong University ranked 1st with 1 First and 2 Second. Hue University ranked 2nd with 1 First, 1 Second, 2 Third. Thai Binh University of Medicine ranked 3rd with 1 First and 1 Consolation. The 4 fourth and fifth ranks belonged to VNU University of Education and VNU-HCM University of Technology, respectively.
